Donate your surplus books
Your surplus books will help student-inmates participate in continuous education at ACI Rhode Island
- Inmate students can earn their Associate’s Degree while still incarcerated
- The Courses are taught by volunteer CCRI instructors
- The courses are free
- Books are not. And the cost can be prohibitive
- Prison rules prohibit sharing texts or passing used books along to new students
- The cost of books prevents enrollment of many who have neither the means nor family support
- Project Book will turn your donated books into cash that will be used to purchase required texts
- We will collect your books at a convenient time and place
